We want you to feel completely confident when shopping with us. If something is not quite right, you can return any unused item in its original packaging within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition for a refund.

If your order arrives in more than one shipment, the 30 day window begins once the final item has been delivered.

As we work with a number of trusted suppliers and small independent brands, a small number of items may need to be returned directly to the supplier rather than to us. If this applies to your return, we will let you know and explain any specific instructions.

Exclusions

  • For safety and hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns for
  • Faulty goods you were made aware of at the time of purchase
  • Items damaged due to attempted repair
  • Personalised, bespoke or made to order products
  • Perishable items
  • Products with hygiene or tamper seals that have been opened
  • Items that cannot be resold for hygiene or safety reasons

Returning Your Item

You are welcome to return your item using your preferred courier service. Please let us know before sending your parcel so we can note your return and provide any details you may need.

Packaging Your Return

Please package your item securely so it arrives back safely and remains eligible for a refund. Using the original box or a sturdy alternative is recommended. Items returned in soft packaging or bags may become damaged in transit, which could affect your refund.

Faulty, Damaged or Missing Items

We are really sorry if an item has arrived damaged, faulty or has not reached you as expected. Our team will resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

Please email hey@learningbugs.co.uk with your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. Once reviewed, we will advise on the next steps and may offer a replacement, refund or partial refund depending on the issue. If the item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect, we will reimburse your return postage cost.

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged or does not arrive within the expected delivery time, please contact us within ten days of the delivery date so we can raise a claim with the courier. Claims made after this period cannot be supported due to courier time limits.

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds

Once your return has been received and checked, we will issue your refund to your original payment method and email you to confirm it has been processed.

Refunds usually appear within one to ten working days, depending on processing times.

If your order qualified for free delivery and you return items due to change of mind, we may deduct our actual postage cost of £4.95 to £6.50 from your refund. This helps us keep our delivery prices fair for all customers.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the original product for a refund and place a new order.

Missed or Failed Deliveries

If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected or delivery attempts were missed, a fifteen pound failed delivery fee will be deducted from your refund. If you would like the parcel to be resent, new postage costs will apply.

For orders returned after several unsuccessful delivery attempts, we are not responsible for further delivery costs or courier delays.

Additional Information

Some items may arrive in supplier branded packaging. If you require plain packaging for a gift, please let us know before dispatch and we will do our best to help.

Wooden and hand painted toys may naturally show small variations or light marks during normal use. These are not considered faults.

We occasionally use recycled boxes or protective tape to keep products safe during transit. This does not mean the item is used or damaged.
