If your child has a Connetix pastel set and is ready to move beyond what squares and standard triangles allow, the 48 Piece Pastel Shape Expansion Pack introduces six specialist geometry shapes that open up a completely different level of building. With 8 of each shape across all 8 pastel shades, this is a more generous set than the rainbow version and gives builders significantly more material to work with for complex patterns and structures.
The pack includes pentagons, large right angle triangles, large equilateral triangles, diamonds, trapezoids and quarter circles, all in the same soft earthy pastel tones as the wider Connetix pastel range. These shapes unlock builds that standard tiles cannot create. Quarter circles form curved roads, domes and archways. Trapezoids and diamonds tessellate into large hexagons and geometric patterns. Large triangles provide structural support for tall builds, ramps and rocket fins. Pentagons challenge older builders to engineer complex domed structures with real spatial reasoning.
