A low loft bed is a mid sleeper bed: lower than a full height loft bed, with room underneath to play. The Mini+ Low Loft Bed has a space under the bunk for a cosy hangout, the Wood Original Low Loft Bed is 138 cm high with space for a cosy hideaway underneath, and the Seaside Classic Low Loft Bed in white has space underneath for a hideout or storage for toys.

The Mini+ and Wood Original mid sleepers come in white, white/oak and oak. Every bed is made to order in Europe and delivered free in the UK.

What is a mid sleeper bed?

A mid sleeper is a raised bed that sits lower than a full height loft bed, with open space underneath for play or storage. Oliver Furniture call theirs a low loft bed.

Is a cabin bed the same as a mid sleeper?

The two names are often used for the same style of raised children's bed. Our low loft beds have open space underneath, not built-in drawers or cupboards.

What age is a mid sleeper suitable for?

According to safety standard EN 747, loft beds are not suitable for children under 6 years, due to the risk of injury from falls.

How high is a low loft bed?

The Wood Original Low Loft Bed is 138 cm high. Each product page lists the full dimensions.

How long does delivery take?

These beds are made to order and shipped direct from Denmark, usually within 2 to 4 weeks of ordering. Delivery is free in the UK and arrives kerbside on a pallet.
