Description
A child rides the pink balance bike along the path, then stops to pop a treasure they have found into the wicker basket.
The Bigjigs Toys Pink Balance Bike With Wicker Basket is a toddler balance bike with easy-to-grip handles, a wicker basket and a sticker sheet, suitable from 3 years.
Balance bikes give children the chance to improve their balance and coordination before pedals are introduced, and as they learn to steer and control their speed they also build strength, spatial awareness, gross motor skills and confidence, which makes the move to a pedal bike smoother. This pretty pink balance bike has a sturdy construction and comes with a sticker sheet so children can decorate their new set of wheels. It is made from premium quality materials, coloured with non-toxic paints and lacquers, and measures 60cm high, 90cm wide and 44cm deep.

Real help
Questions before you buy? We're happy to help. Ask Us
What age is the Banwood balance bike suitable for?
The Banwood balance bike is designed for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. The adjustable saddle runs from 37 to 44 cm and the handlebar from 50 to 59 cm, so it grows with your child rather than being outgrown quickly.
What size is the Banwood balance bike?
The Banwood balance bike has 12 inch wheels and weighs just 4.5 kg, making it light enough for toddlers to handle independently. The deck is low to the ground which makes it easy for young children to get on and off confidently.
Does the Banwood balance bike have a brake?
No. The Banwood balance bike has no brake system. This is intentional for the age group - young children learn to control their speed naturally by putting their feet down, which is developmentally appropriate for ages 2.5 to 5.
Is the Banwood balance bike worth the money?
The Banwood balance bike is built from a steel frame with vegan leather grips, a padded saddle and a detachable wicker basket. The quality of the materials means it holds up to years of daily use and can be passed down to younger siblings, making it a genuinely long-term investment rather than a disposable toy
What comes with the Banwood balance bike?
The Banwood balance bike comes with the bike, a detachable wicker basket and a safety bell. Everything is included and nothing extra needs to be bought to get riding from day one.
How does the Banwood balance bike help children learn to ride?
A balance bike removes pedals from the equation so toddlers can focus entirely on balance and steering. Children who learn on a balance bike almost always transition to a pedal bike faster and with more confidence than those who start on stabilisers, because they already understand how to balance before pedals are introduced.
