In the first months of riding, an adult walks behind and steers with the push bar while a toddler sits up front.
The Little Dutch 4 in 1 Trike with Push Bar in blue is a toddler trike that changes with the rider across four modes: an adult-steered tricycle with push bar and safety ring, an independent pedal tricycle, a three-wheel balance bike and a two-wheel balance bike. It is from the Safari Dreams range and suits children from 12 months, up to a maximum rider weight of 25kg.
The push bar adjusts in height and can be taken off once the rider has enough control. The rubber wheels are made to run quietly and smoothly indoors and outdoors, and the pedals store under the saddle between stages. The trike weighs about 4.5kg.
