Little Dutch 4 in 1 Trike with Push Bar - Green

Most first trikes are outgrown in a summer. This one keeps going until they are three. It is the trike for a 1 year old that still earns its place at three, taking your child from sitting up front while you steer, all the way to balancing on two wheels alone. Soft natural green with warm brown detailing.

Four modes, one trike

1. Push trike: they sit, you steer. The harness and safety ring keep them secure.
2. Pedal trike: pedals on, and they power themselves along.
3. Balance bike, three wheels: pedals off, feet down, finding their balance with three wheels underneath them.
4. Balance bike, two wheels: the last step before a bike without stabilisers.

The push bar does the work in the early days. It adjusts for height so you are not stooping, gives you full control of the steering, and lifts off the moment your child would rather be trusted. The harness and safety ring come away on the same terms. The pedals store under the saddle, so they are not lost in the shed between stages.

The frame is sturdy, the rubber tyres keep the ride quiet, and at 4.5kg one hand carries it to the park while the other holds a toddler.
