Description
Explore our tickit® Wooden Solar System Discs and voyage into an exciting galaxy far away!
The smooth rounded plywood discs are ideal for small hands, making them tactile and easy to grip, rotate and examine.
A great set for children to learn more about stars, planets and our solar system. Encourages descriptive language, imaginative play, fine motor skills and creates a greater understanding of the world and our universe.
Why not start a discussion about gravity, orbiting or what the environment might be like on a different planet? Your child will love using their imagination to invent their own interpretation of what life forms may exist on other planets.
The discs are chunky enough to stand upright to create a display and also feature a hanging hole to create a solar system mobile.
Each disc is colour printed on one side with a beautiful clear photo realistic illustration, so your child can clearly identify the sun, our moon and the planets within our solar system.
The reverse side details the name, diameter, temperature and distance from the sun. The discs represent our Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Earth, our moon, Venus, Mars, Mercury and Pluto.
Comes with a beautiful colour printed solar system poster and a colour guide with interesting facts. Wooden discs include: The Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Venus, Mars, Mercury, Earth's Moon & Pluto.
Set includes: 11 wooden discs, information guide and A3 poster.
Size: Sun 11cm diameter.
Age: Suitable from 12 months.
