Description

The CUBITRI climbing cube is a den, a tunnel, a climbing frame and a coffee table, depending on which way up you put it. Rotate it and you get a new challenge, which is why it holds a child's interest far longer than most single purpose toys.

From twelve months they climb it, hide in it, crawl through the tunnel side and turn it into a shop or a house. Add a sliding ramp for a slide down one side, and it links up with the pikler triangles to make a full indoor climbing frame.

Round edges, smooth surfaces and no visible screws, in 15mm birch plywood with a water based finish. Certified to EN 71 with a 50kg load, and it comes apart for storage.

FAQ

What age is the climbing cube for?
From twelve months. Ette Tete also note that the round tunnel side can be introduced earlier during the crawling phase with close supervision, but twelve months is the rated age for climbing. It stays useful for years because the cube changes purpose depending on how you turn it.

What is the difference between window and rope?
The two versions differ on one side of the cube. One has a window opening with a cotton curtain, the other has a rope. Everything else is identical.

How much weight can it hold?
Certified to 50kg, so a parent can sit on it and it doubles as a side table.

Do I need a ramp?
No, the cube works on its own. A ramp adds a slide and lets you connect the cube to a pikler triangle to build a bigger indoor climbing frame.

Does it come assembled?
No, it arrives flat packed with printed instructions and a video guide.

Why Ette Tete

It started in a basement in Latvia. In 2016 Linda watched the children upstairs while Krišjānis built the first helper tower in the basement. Their eldest, then two, called everything "ette". Ten years on, the name stuck and so did the idea.

Bought once, not replaced twice

The cheap towers get outgrown, wobble, or end up in a garage. These adjust, convert and fold, and they hold 50kg. Most families use one piece for four years or more.
