Description

The Oliver Furniture Wood Original Bed is designed for the older child who has outgrown the junior bed or for the teenager.

It fits easily into different interiors and gives the room an aesthetically pleasing and timeless Nordic design. The rounded corners contribute to the inviting look of the bed and create a safe and cosy atmosphere. The bed can be supplemented with a bed guard for increased safety and a bed drawer for toys, bed linen or similar items. The sustainable design of the bed series makes it possible to convert the bed into any other bed in the same series to extend its lifetime and adapt to the changing needs of the modern family. Made from birch wood and MDF with legs in white-oiled solid oak.

Add-Ons

Mattress 90 x 200 cm (+£329)

This bed requires a 90 x 200 cm mattress with rounded corners. Standard mattresses will not fit as the bed base has curved edges that need this exact size. The Oliver Furniture Original mattress is 13 cm deep with a high-resilience cold foam core certified to Oeko-Tex standards. Comfortable, breathable and hypoallergenic. The cover is GOTS-certified organic herringbone cotton quilted with recycled PET fibres. The top half has a waterproof breathable layer with a zip-off design so it can be machine washed at 40°.

Bed Guard (+£99)

The Wood Original bed guard attaches to the open side of the bed for additional safety.

Bed Drawer (+£279)

The Wood Original bed drawer fits under the bed and provides spacious storage for toys, bedding or clothing. It runs on small wheels for easy access.

Made from birch wood and MDF with legs in white-oiled solid oak. MDF is a versatile wood-based material with a smooth, uniform surface ideal for precise craftsmanship and a flawless painted finish. Finished with non-toxic, REACH-certified paint. Hidden screws throughout. Manufactured to order in Europe and complies with strict EU health and safety requirements.

Maximum static weight load: 120 kg. Five-year warranty included.
Delivery & Returns

Made to order and shipped direct from Denmark. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks from your order date. Delivery is kerbside pallet. Assembly requires two people and standard tools. Full instructions are included. Free UK delivery is included on this order.

As a made-to-order item this bed cannot be returned unless it arrives faulty or damaged. Please inspect all boxes carefully on delivery and report any damage with photos to hey@learningbugs.co.uk within 7 days of receipt. Any confirmed fault will be resolved with a replacement part or full replacement.

What age is the Wood Original Bed suitable for?

From around age 6 through to adulthood. The full 90 x 200 cm sleeping space and 120 kg weight load mean it works as a long-term bed well beyond childhood.

Is a mattress included?

No. This bed requires a 90 x 200 cm mattress with rounded corners. Add the Oliver Furniture option above and it ships on the same pallet at no extra cost.

Can a bed guard or drawer be added?
