Key Features
Description
A toy boat for small world play on the river. The Little Otter Canal Boat, Malardeau, is home to three otter dolls. A child can lift off the roof, take out the cabin and set the otters up for supper by the wood burning stove. It is designed to support language development, emotional awareness and storytelling.
- Three otter dolls: Suzy, Skipper and Smudge
- Wood burning stove, matchbox set of drawers, jam jar lid table, 3 bottle tops, 3 knitted sleeping bags, row of vegetables, flowerpot, coffee pot and jam pot
- Removable roof and a cabin that lifts out
- SVLK certified reclaimed rubberwood, responsibly sourced plywood and non toxic paints
- Part of the Merrywood Tales range, for ages 3 years and over
The boat takes its name from the family's favourite mallard duck, which sits at the bow, and many of the accessories look like everyday items the otters have borrowed. It is scaled to match the Rosewood Cottage. It pairs well with the Sandy’s Beach Hut, another Merrywood Tales set. Browse more small world play or the Tender Leaf collection.
