Description

The Oeuf Perch Bunk Bed in White & Birch is Oeuf's best-selling bunk bed, a family favourite since 2009, with two single sleeping spaces in a compact footprint that suits smaller rooms. An angled ladder with safety treads fits on either side of the bed, and sturdy rails give added safety on the top bunk, which is suitable for children aged 6 and over. Each bed takes a 90 x 200 cm mattress (not included).

As a family's needs change, the lower bed can be separated to create a standalone loft bed and a standalone single bed. The Perch Trundle Bed (mattress not included) adds a third bed for sleepovers and comes with a vertical ladder conversion, or the Ladder Conversion Kit on its own turns the angled ladder into a space-saving vertical one. Both, and the Security Rail, can be added using the options above. Like all Oeuf beds, the Perch is GREENGUARD Gold certified, tested for over 15,000 VOCs and air pollutants, with non-toxic, water-based finishes throughout.

Since 2002, Oeuf has crafted its furniture in Europe in a Forest Stewardship Council certified facility, here using Baltic birch plywood and eco-MDF. We chose the Perch because it is a bunk bed that can change shape as children grow, and the same design is also available as the Perch Loft Bed. Add-Ons

Security Rail (+£135)

An Oeuf Security Rail for added protection, which can be fitted to one or both sides of the bed (one rail per add-on). Finished in White.

Perch Trundle Bed with Ladder Conversion (+£519)

A trundle bed that slides under the lower bunk and rolls out on hidden wheels for sleepovers and doubles as under-bed storage for blankets and clothing when the mattress is removed. Takes an 89 x 186 x 11 cm mattress (not included). Made from solid birch and Baltic birch plywood in White, GREENGUARD Gold certified, with non-toxic, water-based finishes. It comes with replacement ladder rails so the bunk ladder hangs vertically, making room for the trundle.

Ladder Conversion Kit (+£189)

Converts the standard angled ladder into a vertical one, freeing up floor space in more compact rooms. It uses the steps from the original ladder and fits with the included hardware. Made from solid birch and Baltic birch plywood in White. Choose this or the Perch Trundle Bed, which already includes the vertical ladder.

Materials & Safety

Made from Baltic birch plywood and eco-MDF. All finishes are non-toxic, water-based and free of VOC health hazards.

GREENGUARD Gold certified for a cleaner, healthier indoor environment, after testing for over 15,000 VOCs and air pollutants. Since 2002, Oeuf furniture has been made in Europe in a Forest Stewardship Council certified facility.

To clean, use a mild cleaner and a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sponges to keep the finish looking its best.
