Mattress (+£329)

The Oliver Furniture mattress for all Wood Original beds measures W90 x L200 x H13 cm. The core is made of European HR cold foam, which is very comfortable, breathable and hypoallergenic. The cover is made of organic herringbone cotton, quilted with a layer of recycled PET fibres, and one half (top) has a breathable, waterproof layer. The removable cover is machine washable (max. 40°). The mattress is tested according to the safety standard EN 16890 and in compliance with the European fire safety standards EN 71-2 and BS 7177.

Bed Drawer (+£279)

The Wood Original bed drawer is a practical, space-saving storage solution. It is spacious and has small wheels mounted under the base. The drawer is white, made of birch wood and MDF, and measures W94 x L142 x H24 cm, with inside dimensions of W90 x L137.5 x H15 cm.

Bed Guard (+£99)

The Wood Original bed guard is solid and secure, and is for the younger child who needs extra safety. It is made of solid birch wood, painted white with non-toxic paint, and measures L77 x H42 x D2.5 cm.

All add-ons ship on the same pallet as the bed at no extra delivery cost.

Wood Original is made of birch wood and MDF, and this all-white model has legs in solid birch. MDF is a versatile, wood-based material with a smooth, uniform surface. The bed is painted with non-toxic, REACH-certified paint, and the non-visible screws give it a clean and exclusive design.

Can a bed drawer or bed guard be added to the day bed?

Yes. The bed can be supplemented with a bed guard (+£99) for increased safety and a bed drawer (+£279) for toys, bed linen or similar items. Add them using the options above.

Can the Wood Original Day Bed be converted into another bed?

Made to order and shipped direct from Denmark, usually within 2 to 4 weeks of ordering. Delivery is kerbside pallet, and assembly needs two people and basic tools. Full instructions are included, and delivery is free across the UK.

Your order is delivered by a large delivery lorry. Most addresses are no problem at all. If you live on a narrow road, a private lane, or anywhere a large vehicle might struggle to reach, just let us know before you order and we'll check with our delivery partner for you.

Occasionally, hard-to-reach addresses need a special delivery, which can carry an extra charge. If that applies to you, we'll always confirm the cost with you first.

As this is made to order, we can only accept returns if the item arrives faulty or damaged. Please check every box carefully when it arrives and email hey@learningbugs.co.uk with photos within 7 days if anything's wrong. We'll sort a replacement part or full replacement, whichever's needed.
