Mattress (+£269)

The Oliver Furniture mattress for the Wood Original junior bed measures W90 x L160 x H13 cm. The core is made of European HR cold foam, which is very comfortable, breathable and hypoallergenic. The cover is made of organic herringbone cotton, quilted with a layer of recycled PET fibres, and one half (top) has a breathable, waterproof layer of Oeko-Tex certified cotton. The removable cover is machine washable (max. 40°). The mattress is tested according to the safety standard EN 16890 and in compliance with the European fire safety standards EN 71-2 and BS 7177.

Bed Guard (+£99)

The Wood Original bed guard is solid and secure, and is for the younger child who needs extra safety. It is made of solid birch wood, painted white with non-toxic paint, and measures L77 x H42 x D2.5 cm.

All add-ons ship on the same pallet as the bed at no extra delivery cost.

Wood Original is made of birch wood and MDF, and this all-white model has legs in solid birch. MDF is a versatile, wood-based material with a smooth, uniform surface. The bed is painted with non-toxic, REACH-certified paint, and the non-visible screws give it a clean and exclusive design.

The series is made in Europe and complies with strict EU health and safety requirements. Maximum weightload on bed base (static weight): 120 kg. Each Oliver Furniture product has a 5-year warranty covering wood construction defects.

Is this junior bed suitable as a toddler bed?

Is there room for an adult on the junior day bed?

Even though the junior bed is shorter than a normal bed, there is still room for an adult to lie next to the child and read a bedtime story.

Made to order and shipped direct from Denmark, usually within 2 to 4 weeks of ordering. Delivery is kerbside pallet, and assembly needs two people and basic tools. Full instructions are included, and delivery is free across the UK.

Your order is delivered by a large delivery lorry. Most addresses are no problem at all. If you live on a narrow road, a private lane, or anywhere a large vehicle might struggle to reach, just let us know before you order and we'll check with our delivery partner for you.

Occasionally, hard-to-reach addresses need a special delivery, which can carry an extra charge. If that applies to you, we'll always confirm the cost with you first.

As this is made to order, we can only accept returns if the item arrives faulty or damaged. Please check every box carefully when it arrives and email hey@learningbugs.co.uk with photos within 7 days if anything's wrong. We'll sort a replacement part or full replacement, whichever's needed.
