Description

The MOPITRI pikler triangle folds into more than ten shapes, so one frame carries your child from pulling up at twelve months to scrambling over the top at five. Set it low and gentle this month, steeper the next.

Add a sliding ramp and it hooks on at any height: smooth side for sliding, rungs for climbing. Choose one for a single slide, or two to build a bridge between the segments. The frame is birch plywood with a water based varnish, there is no plastic in the box, and it comes apart in minutes to store behind a wardrobe.

Made in Latvia and certified to EN 71 with a 50kg load, so it holds up when the climbing gets ambitious.

FAQ

What age is a pikler triangle for?
From twelve months. At that stage most children use it to pull to standing and shuffle along the bottom rungs. Full climbing usually starts between eighteen months and two years, and the frame stays interesting well into school age because you can keep changing its shape.

Do I need a ramp?
No, the frame works on its own. Most families add one ramp, which gives a slide on one side and a climbing surface on the other. Two ramps let you bridge between segments for more layouts, and it is the option to pick if you have siblings sharing.

How much weight can it hold?
MOPITRI is certified to 50kg, so most children can share it with a sibling or a parent kneeling alongside.

Is the varnish safe?
Yes. Ette Tete use a water based UV varnish that is non-toxic and certified for children's toys.

Does it come assembled?
No. It arrives flat packed to protect it in transit and to keep shipping costs down. Assembly is straightforward with the printed instructions or the video guide.

How do I store it?
Unscrew the handles and threaded rods and the frame separates into sections that slide under a bed or behind a wardrobe.

Can it go outside?
No. MOPITRI is designed for indoor use. Rain, cold and direct sun will damage the plywood over time.

Why Ette Tete

It started in a basement in Latvia. In 2016 Linda watched the children upstairs while Krišjānis built the first helper tower in the basement. Their eldest, then two, called everything "ette". Ten years on, the name stuck and so did the idea.

Bought once, not replaced twice

The cheap towers get outgrown, wobble, or end up in a garage. These adjust, convert and fold, and they hold 50kg. Most families use one piece for four years or more.
