Description

The Oliver Furniture Wood Original Junior Day Bed serves a dual purpose: as a cosy bed with protective sides at night and as a delicate sofa with pillows along the backrest during the day.

The junior day bed is easily styled with pillows, throws and covers to create an inviting universe for small personalities with big dreams, both day and night. With its delicate dimensions of 160 cm in length, the junior day bed is ideal as the first real bed in a small children's room. Even though the junior bed is shorter than a normal bed, there is still room for mum or dad to lie next to their child and read a bedtime story. The junior day bed can be fitted with a bed guard for increased safety. Over time it can be converted to an adult length of 2 meters or to a completely different bed in the same series, helping to extend the lifetime of the bed well into adulthood. Made from birch wood and MDF with solid birch legs painted white throughout.

This bed requires a 90 x 160 cm mattress. The Oliver Furniture Original junior bed mattress is 13 cm deep with a European HR cold foam core. Comfortable, breathable and hypoallergenic. The cover is organic herringbone cotton quilted with recycled PET fibres. The top half has a waterproof breathable layer with a zip-off design so it can be machine washed at 40°.

Bed Guard (+£99)

The Wood Original bed guard attaches to the open side of the junior day bed for additional safety, preventing younger children from rolling out during sleep.

Made from birch wood and MDF. MDF is a versatile wood-based material with a smooth, uniform surface, ideal for precise craftsmanship and a flawless painted finish. Solid birch legs painted white throughout. Finished with non-toxic, REACH-certified paint. Hidden screws throughout. Manufactured to order in Europe and complies with strict EU health and safety requirements.

Made to order and shipped direct from Denmark, usually within 2 to 4 weeks of ordering. Delivery is kerbside pallet, and assembly needs two people and basic tools. Full instructions are included, and delivery is free across the UK.

As this is made to order, we can only accept returns if the item arrives faulty or damaged. Please check every box carefully when it arrives and email hey@learningbugs.co.uk with photos within 7 days if anything's wrong. We'll sort a replacement part or full replacement, whichever's needed.
