Description

The STEP'n'FOLD folds flat to 12cm, so it slides behind a door or down the side of a cupboard when you are done cooking. If your kitchen is too small for a tower that lives in the corner, this is the one.

Two height settings mean it grows with your child, from eighteen months up to six and beyond. It is light enough to carry to the bathroom for teeth brushing, or to the window to water the plants, and it holds 50kg so it stays planted when they lean.

15mm birch plywood, water based finish, certified to three European furniture standards.

FAQ

How small does it fold?
Down to 12cm deep, which is slim enough to slide behind a door, into the gap beside a fridge, or flat against a wall in a utility room.

What age is it for?
From eighteen months, once your child is walking confidently and can climb the first step unaided. The two height settings mean most families get use out of it until around six.

How is this different from the STEP'n'SIT?
The STEP'n'FOLD folds flat for storage and adjusts in height. The STEP'n'SIT converts into a table and chair instead. Pick the fold if space is your problem, the sit if you want two pieces of furniture in one.

Is it stable when folded out?
Yes, and it is certified to hold 50kg. Optional support legs widen the footprint further if your toddler is particularly active.

Why are learning towers so expensive?
Most of the cost is in making something a toddler can lean on without it tipping. This one is 15mm birch plywood, rated to 50kg and tested to three separate European furniture standards. Cheaper towers exist, but they tend to be lighter and narrower at the base.

It started in a basement in Latvia. In 2016 Linda watched the children upstairs while Krišjānis built the first helper tower in the basement. Their eldest, then two, called everything "ette". Ten years on, the name stuck and so did the idea.

Bought once, not replaced twice

The cheap towers get outgrown, wobble, or end up in a garage. These adjust, convert and fold, and they hold 50kg. Most families use one piece for four years or more.

Made carefully, tested properly

Rounded edges, hidden fixings and a 50kg load rating. Tested to EN 17191, EN 14183 and EN 12520, and approved for sale in the UK, EU, US, Canada and Korea.

An 860m² workshop near Tinuzi with 33 people, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. Baltic birch sourced locally, cut on their own machines, packed in paper rather than plastic.
