Description
In the early months a baby sleeps on the firm coir side. Later the core is turned over and a toddler sleeps on the pocket sprung side. The Obaby Moisture Management Dual Core Mattress is a cot mattress in 120 x 60cm, listed by Obaby as suitable from birth onwards.
Both the core and the cover are reversible. One face of the cover has a Tencel top panel, included to help manage moisture and humidity. It can be removed without taking the mattress out of the cot, leaving an air permeable PU panel that can also be slept on. A removable, water resistant inner cover gives a further sleeping surface while the outer cover is being washed.
The other face of the cover is knitted polyester, and Obaby describes the whole cover as antibacterial, antifungal and anti-dust mite. Obaby lists this size as suitable for use with an Obaby Mini Cot Bed.
