Description

At the end of a long first day at home, a newborn is settled onto the mattress at the top base height. The Obaby Nika Cot Bed in White Wash is a cot bed that begins there and later becomes a toddler bed.

The mattress base has three positions. Obaby sets the highest for a newborn, so a baby can be put down and picked up without unnecessary bending. As a baby becomes more active, the base lowers by a further two positions, and teething rails protect first teeth. Once a toddler is standing confidently, the Nika converts into a toddler bed, which Obaby says can be used until approximately four years old.

The frame has clean lines and a textured white wood effect finish, and coordinates with the Obaby Nika furniture collection. It requires an Obaby 140 x 70cm mattress, which is available separately.
