Description

The Oeuf Classic Cot Bed is the design that launched Oeuf in 2002, with a white body on solid birch legs that has been a trusted nursery favourite for over two decades. Three adjustable mattress heights give a baby comfortable support from the newborn days to sitting and standing, and the cot takes a standard 140 x 70 cm cot mattress (not included).

When the time comes, the Classic Conversion Kit turns it into a toddler bed by replacing all four sides, so a child can climb in and out of bed on their own, up to age 5 to 6. The kit uses the same mattress and can be added using the option above. The Classic is GREENGUARD Gold certified, tested for over 15,000 VOCs and air pollutants, with non-toxic, water-based finishes throughout.

Since 2002, Oeuf has crafted its furniture in Europe in a Forest Stewardship Council certified facility, here using solid birch, Baltic birch plywood and eco-MDF. We chose the Classic because it is a timeless cot bed families can keep using for years, and it sits beautifully alongside the Classic Toddler Bed. Add-Ons

Classic Conversion Kit (+£245)

Turns the Classic Cot Bed into a toddler bed by replacing all four sides, so a child can easily climb in and out of bed on their own. A scaled-down bed with a low mattress position, it supports children up to age 5 to 6 and uses the same 140 x 70 cm mattress. Made in Europe from solid birch, Baltic birch plywood and eco-MDF, GREENGUARD Gold certified, with non-toxic, water-based finishes. Oeuf recommends buying the kit at the same time as the cot.

Materials & Safety

Made from solid birch, Baltic birch plywood and eco-MDF. All finishes are non-toxic, water-based and free of VOC health hazards.

GREENGUARD Gold certified for a cleaner, healthier indoor environment, after testing for over 15,000 VOCs and air pollutants. Since 2002, Oeuf furniture has been made in Europe in a Forest Stewardship Council certified facility.

To clean, use a mild cleaner and a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sponges to keep the finish looking its best.
