Mattress (+£329 each)

The Oliver Furniture mattress for all Seaside Classic beds, 90 x 200 cm, has a core of European HR cold foam, which is very comfortable, breathable and hypoallergenic. The cover is organic herringbone cotton quilted with a layer of recycled PET fibres, one half (top) has a breathable, waterproof layer, and the removable cover is machine washable (max. 40°). Choose 1 x or 2 x in the option above.

Bed Guard (+£109)

Classic and Nordic design: robust, safe and easy to attach. The bed guard is made of solid birch wood, painted with non-toxic, REACH-certified paint, and measures L100 x H38 x D2.5 cm. Oliver Furniture lists the Seaside Classic bunk bed with slant ladder among the beds it can be mounted on.

All add-ons ship on the same pallet as the bed at no extra delivery cost.

Seaside Classic is made of birch wood and MDF. MDF is a versatile, wood-based material with a smooth, uniform surface. The bed is painted with non-toxic, REACH-certified paint, and the non-visible screws give the bed a clean and exclusive design.

Manufactured in Europe and complies with European safety standards. Tested and approved according to safety standard EN 747-1:2012. According to EN 747 loft beds and the upper bed of bunk beds are not suitable for children under 6 years due to the risk of injury from falls. A smaller child can sleep in the lower bed of bunk beds, possibly with a bed guard for extra safety. Maximum weightload on bed bases (static weight): 120 kg. Each Oliver Furniture product has a 5-year warranty covering wood construction defects.

Is this a wooden bunk bed with a slanted ladder?

Yes. Seaside Classic is made of birch wood and MDF, and this version has a slant ladder that can be mounted on both sides of the bed. With the ladder the bed is 141 cm wide.

What age is this kids bunk bed suitable for?

According to EN 747 loft beds and the upper bed of bunk beds are not suitable for children under 6 years due to the risk of injury from falls. A smaller child can sleep in the lower bed of bunk beds, possibly with a bed guard for extra safety.

Are mattresses included?

Mattress not included. The mattress dimensions are 90 x 200 cm with a maximum mattress thickness of 15 cm. One or two Seaside Classic mattresses (+£329 each) can be added using the option above. Ships on the same pallet as the bed at no extra delivery cost.

Can the bunk bed be converted into other beds?

Yes. If the bed becomes too small or a little brother comes along, the bed can keep up with the new needs. The conversion options are shown in our Bed Converter, and five-year availability of the standard conversion kits is guaranteed from the date of purchase.

Made to order and shipped direct from Denmark, usually within 2 to 4 weeks of ordering. Delivery is kerbside pallet, and assembly needs two people and basic tools. Full instructions are included, and delivery is free across the UK.

Your order is delivered by a large delivery lorry. Most addresses are no problem at all. If you live on a narrow road, a private lane, or anywhere a large vehicle might struggle to reach, just let us know before you order and we'll check with our delivery partner for you.

Occasionally, hard-to-reach addresses need a special delivery, which can carry an extra charge. If that applies to you, we'll always confirm the cost with you first.

As this is made to order, we can only accept returns if the item arrives faulty or damaged. Please check every box carefully when it arrives and email hey@learningbugs.co.uk with photos within 7 days if anything's wrong. We'll sort a replacement part or full replacement, whichever's needed.
