Animal: Seal
Key Features
Description
A child holds this wooden seal, gives it a name and invents a world for it, then lines it up with other wooden sea animal toys to sort and group them. It is made for children aged 3 years and over. Open ended animal play like this builds imaginative storytelling and language, and naming and grouping figures builds early vocabulary and an understanding of the natural world.
- One wooden seal figure, hand finished in a soft watercolour stain
- Solid, chunky shape made for small hands
- Part of the Coastal Creatures collection, with 10 figures to collect
- Handcrafted from SVLK certified reclaimed rubberwood, finished with non toxic, water based paints
- Measures 13.4 x 2 x 5.6 cm
- Plastic free, recyclable, gift ready packaging
- For ages 3 years and over
As each piece is made from rubberwood and finished with water based paints, please expect minor defects.
We chose it as a small, lasting piece that grows into a collection of wooden sea animals. It pairs well with the Tender Leaf 10 Coastal Creatures Shelf Set. Find more in the Tender Leaf collection or browse toy animals and figures.
