Description
A cot bed mattress is used first by a newborn and later by a toddler. The Obaby Moisture Management Dual Core Mattress in 140 x 70cm has a side for each stage, with a firm coir side for babies and a pocket sprung side for toddlers. Obaby lists it as suitable from birth onwards.
Both the core and the cover are reversible. One face of the cover has a Tencel top panel, included to help manage moisture and humidity. It can be removed without taking the mattress out of the cot, leaving an air permeable PU panel that can also be slept on. A removable, water resistant inner cover gives a further sleeping surface while the outer cover is being washed.
The other face of the cover is knitted polyester, and Obaby describes the whole cover as antibacterial, antifungal and anti-dust mite. Obaby lists this size as suitable to use with an Obaby Full Size Cot Bed.
