Tender Leaf Wooden Woodland Animal - Fallow Deer

A dainty fallow deer stands at the edge of a pretend wood, held, named and carried from room to room. This Tender Leaf fallow deer is one of the wooden animals in the Woodland collection, a hand finished figure for children aged 3 years and over. Open ended animal play supports imaginative storytelling and language development, as children name the fallow deer, invent its world, and sort and group the collection, building early vocabulary and an understanding of the natural world.

• One wooden fallow deer figure, hand finished in a soft watercolour stain
• Solid, chunky shape made for small hands
• Measures 6 x 2 x 8.5 cm

Each fallow deer is handcrafted from reclaimed rubberwood and finished with non toxic, water based paints, and the packaging is plastic free and recyclable.
