Tender Leaf Wooden Woodland Animal - Hedgehog

A small hedgehog is tucked into a pretend woodland, given a name and a hiding place under a leaf. This Tender Leaf hedgehog is one of the wooden animals in the Woodland collection, a hand finished figure for children aged 3 years and over. Open ended animal play supports imaginative storytelling and language development, as children name the hedgehog, invent its world, and sort and group the collection, building early vocabulary and an understanding of the natural world.

• One wooden hedgehog figure, hand finished in a soft watercolour stain
• Solid, chunky shape made for small hands
• Measures 5.5 x 2 x 3.5 cm
• Part of the Woodland animal collection, with 8 animals to collect
• Reclaimed rubberwood, finished with non toxic, water based paints
• For ages 3 years and over

Each hedgehog is handcrafted from reclaimed rubberwood and finished with non toxic, water based paints, and the packaging is plastic free and recyclable. As each piece is made from rubberwood and finished with water based paints, please expect minor defects. It sits well alongside the Woodland Animal Badger, so a small family of woodland animals can grow over time. Find more in the Tender Leaf collection or browse wooden toy animals and figures.
